Dermol cream relieves symptoms such as itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling and discomfort.

How does Dermol Cream work?

Dermol cream contains the very potent antiinflammaory corticosteroid clobetasol propionate 0.05% that blocks the production of a hormone-like substance called prostaglandin, which causes inflammation. This reduces symptoms of inflammatory skin conditions that do not respond satisfactorily to less active steroids.

Other side effects include changes in the skin such as thinning or colour changes and blood vessels that are close to the skin surface, becoming more visible.

Clean the infected area thoroughly and allow it to dry, then gently rub in the Dermol Cream until most of it disappears. Use a small amount on a fingertip, just enough to cover the affected area. You should always wash your hands after applying the medication and make sure you don’t get any in your eyes, nose or mouth. Do not apply dressings, bandages, cosmetics, lotions, or other skin medications to the area being treated with Dermol Cream unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
